请问TVMW5输出时的编码比特率设置。
我很好奇哦，这里有个“固定视频分辨率”的选项。如果不勾选的话，难道视频的分辨率大小会变来变去的吗？我以为上面的“视频大小”设置成720X576，那么就固定在这个大小了。右边的“编码详细设置”有个“保持流码率不低于最低比特率设置”和“最大视频比特率控制在8000kbps"的选项。这两个选项是什么意思呢？
可能问的问题比较白，请大家不要见笑，在下新手。
根据 [资料] TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works 5（TVMW5） - 英文原版帮助文件，你说的“固定视频分辨率”对应说明如下：
Lock video size
When enabled, prevents the encoder automatic setting to change the video picture size when the specified average bitrate may not be enough to accommodate the picture requirements.
锁定视频大小
启用此选项会在指定平均码率不足以适应画面要求时，阻止编码器自动设置改变画面大小。由此看来，画面大小确实会在一定情况下有所变动。 右侧“编码详细设置”中的两个勾选项解释如下：
“保持流码率不低于最低比特率设置”说明如下：
Pad data to avoid minimum bitrate underflow
“保持流码率不低于最低比特率设置”
When enabled, inserts dummy data in the video stream to prevent its bitrate from descending below the minimum video bitrate.
Some old DVD-Video players may not playback the video correctly if the difference between the minimum and maximum bitrate is too high. To avoid such issues, increase the Minimum bitrate setting and enable the "Pad data to avoid minimum bitrate underflow" option.
勾选此项会在视频中添加伪装数据以防止其码率低于最低比特率设置。如果视频的最低和最高分辨率数值相距过大，有些老旧DVD播放机可能无法正确播放，要避免此种情况出现，可勾选此项以提升最低码率设置。
Note 注意：
This option is not available in MPEG-4 AVC format. 这个选项在输出 MPEG-4 AVC 格式时无效。
“最大视频比特率控制在8000kbps"设置说明如下：
Limit video bitrate to 8000 kb/s 最大视频比特率控制在8000kbpsWhen enabled, prevents the video bitrate from exceeding 8,000 kb/s. 当勾选此选项时，阻止视频比特率超过8,000 kb/s。
The DVD-Video standard specifies the video and audio total bitrate cannot exceed 9.8 Mb/s, in relation with the capacity of the hardware MPEG decoder implemented in the DVD-Video player. When creating an MPEG file aimed to be authored into a DVD-Video, this options keeps the video bitrate within acceptable limits to accommodate the presence of a full Linear PCM audio stream. If you decide to output such a configuration and leave the video bitrate floating over the 8,000 kb/s limit, we recommend you convert the Linear PCM audio into Dolby Digital at authoring time to reduce the audio bitrate within acceptable limits. Without this option enabled, the video bitrate can easily reach 8,300 kb/s, and with a Linear PCM audio stream at 1.5 Mb/s the total bitrate may be too high for the player's decoder.受制于DVD播放机内嵌的MPEG硬件解码器的解码能力，DVD视频标准规定视频与音频总码率不得超过9.8Mb/s。当创建视频的目的在于打包制作成标准DVD视频光盘时，这个选项可保持视频码率在可接受的限度之内，以适应最终文件中包含一条完整的线性PCM（LPCM）音轨的情况。如果你决定按如上配置（加入LPCM音轨）输出，并且打算让视频码率往 8,000 kb/s 以上浮动，我们建议您在打包DVD时，转换LPCM音轨到杜比数字（AC-3）格式，从而将音频码率降低到可接受的范围内。不勾选此选项，视频比特率可能会很容易超过8,300 kb/s，再加上比特率为 1.5 Mb/s 的一条 LPCM 音轨，其整体码率对于DVD播放机的解码器来说就可能过高。
Note 注意：Old DVD-Video set-top box or software players may not be able to play non-standard data. Also, dirty laser pickup lenses or damaged media surfaces may reduce the player's reading capabilities. At high bitrates, such a condition may prevent the player from correcting the data on time. In such a case, enable this option accordingly.
老旧的DVD视频机顶盒或者软件播放器可能无法播放非标准数据。激光头过脏或者光碟表面损毁也可能减低播放器的读取能力。码率过高时，如上情况将使播放器无法按时修正错误的数据。遇到这种情况，相应勾选此选项。

这个翻译不妥当。 论坛MPEG模板中，最低码率设置成300，显然是为了照顾兼容性。
实测，10年前的影碟机已经不存在这个问题了。现在做碟片，可以改进这个设定，可设置非常低的最小码率而不出现兼容性问题。

对于各种原始素材，软件会采用何种默认设置，这我真的不清楚。
