The Greenwood Boys are a group of popular singers. At present, they are visiting all parts of the country. They will be arriving here tomorrow. They will be coming by train and most of the young people in the town will be meeting them at the station. Tomorrow evening they will be singing at the Workers' Club. The Greenwood Boys will be staying for five days. During this time, they will give five performances. As usual, the police will have a difficult time. They will be trying to keep order. It is always the same on these occasions.

老师，singing要连读是什么意思啊？ 新读的点评：
[*]singing 仍然未连读。确切地说，是 / ŋ / 没有到位，它如果到位了，后面的 / iŋ / 就会自然地跟前面的 /ŋ/ 连读。你试试单独发 /ŋiŋ/，看在读 singing 时能不能找到这个音节。还可以听听 singer 的连读，参考一下。[*]usual 第二个音节处理得不够流畅。[*]these 读得过短，试试拉长 / i: /。 回复 4# IsaacZ

英语发音的特点在于它发每个辅音时都必须让舌头摆在一个固定的位置，不是听起来像就可以了。还是那句话，先练 /ŋi/ ，再练/ŋiŋ/，练好连读再去读 /siŋ/，读到词尾时拉长鼻音，为 /ŋiŋ/ 的连读做好准备，最后完成整个把 /ŋiŋ/ 发出来。
不要想先发什么，后发什么，不能这么人为地去分开，你忘了你问过怎么才能“粘”了？ 回复 6# IsaacZ

PS：老师，请问those days连读时，those的/z/是不是不用发出来？ 还是没读对。
/ŋi/ 不是过渡，而是“连读”。把它当声母和韵母来拼读即可。必须能单独念得出 /ŋi/ 才行。

谢谢老师~~我找了好几个外国网站，听了好多遍singer和singing……还是没听出来……像声韵母那样拼读，/ŋ/发音时，舌根在后面，这个要怎么拼读啊？我试来试去也不会…… 回复 9# Suqi
